David Sylvian (born David Alan Batt, 23 February 1958) is an English singer-songwriter and musician who came to prominence in the late 1970s as frontman of the band Japan. The band's androgynous look and increasingly electronic sound made them an important influence on the UK's early-1980s New Romantic scene. Following their breakup, Sylvian embarked on a solo career with his debut album Brilliant Trees (1984)
David Sylvian – Red Guitar. El material está siendo procesado. Por favor, vuelve más tarde. I recognize no method of living That I know I see only the basic materials I may use. If you ask me, I may tell you It's been this way for years. I play my red guitar It's the devil in the flesh It's the iron in my soul. I understand you're facing problems Inside you A certain difficulty of being That I know too. You may ask me why do I fail Just when I'm needed
com/watch?v Xxhd71j42bc unfortunately the video was shot too far away to recognize any chord, plus the video is quite blurry. I found an acoustic cover of Red Guitar, which sounds great to my ears. Don't know if this helps you, but it will help me, because the chords he chooses and the style in which they are played are fairly clear aurally or played as arpeggios in certain parts. I need to download the audio and learn t, but I will and then I'll post something, once I have it.
David Sylvian's 2003 solo album, his first since Dead Bees On a Cake. It was the debut release for his own Samadhi Sound label. David set aside a month to write and record the album while taking a break from the project that he and his brother, Steve Jansen, are currently working on. He has created an impromptu suite of songs for guitar, electronics and voice. The compositions were crafted from improvisational sessions captured live in the studio. Working almost entirely alone David has created an emotionally raw, minimal work, of immediacy and stark beauty.
