Rockabilly guitarist Danny Blitz started kicking around Los Angeles in the late 90's, spreading his brand of high-energy rock guitar to the Southern California area. Born in Houston, Blitz traveled around the country with little more than a love of Buddy Holly and a guitar for a good part of his y. .Writing the hilarious "If Ozzy Was My Dad" after the success of Ozzy Osbourne's reality show, it became his ticket to success as Doorslammer Records picked up Blitz and his band for their debut record and MTV licensed the song for the second season of the TV series in 2002.
Jw from Lockport, NyTo the statement that Ozzy was fired by Sabbath, he is a hit and they suck. it was a great move for both. He is better w/out them, but they, in no way, suck. Heaven & Hell (w/out Oz) is a must have for any rock collection, especially metal. Jake definatly has talent but I think he would have been better with someone else but, he got the opportunity to get his playing heard faster by playing for Ozzy. This song is definatly one of the greatest rock songs around. But if you really want to hear a good lead by Randy you should listen to Over the Mountain, Diary of a Madman, Revelation(Mother Earth), I Don't Know, Goodbye To Romance, Believer, & M. rowley. Andrew from Bowmanville, CanadaPersonally i thought Ozzy was better with Black Sabbath but this song rocks! Joe from Oshawa, Canadajust like brian said the song never gets boring.
Ozzmosis is the seventh solo studio album by English heavy metal musician Ozzy Osbourne. Recorded in Paris and New York with producer Michael Beinhorn, it was released on 23 October 1995 by Epic Records. The album reached number 22 on the UK Albums Chart and number four on the US Billboard 200. "Perry Mason", "See You on the Other Side" and "I Just Want You" were released as singles.
We look back on that first album with Lee, who went on to a number of other groups in his long career. He currently fronts Red Dragon Cartel. When you joined Ozzy’s band during the ‘Speak of the Devil’ tour, what was the state of the band at that point? Well, there was Tommy Aldridge on drums, Don Costa on bass and Lindsay Bridgewater on keyboards and Ozzy Osbourne on drugs and alcohol, basically.
Apparently, Ozzy used to get so inebriated he would routinely black out and wake up days later not knowing what he had done. In an interview, he said that his biggest fear was waking up and realizing that he had slain someone. And then that almost happened. In the words of the Black Sabbath frontman: "I woke up in this little single cell with human up the walls - and I thought, what. have I done now? Has one of my practical jokes backfired? So I asked a police officer. I said: 'What am I here for?'
He never expected that Ozzy would actually take a bite I won't get in any trouble for admitting this, will I?" After the concert, Osbourne was rushed to Broadlawns Medical Center for rabies shots. Pam Culver, the nurse supervisor that night, remembers the circus that surrounded his visit. The mob of reporters were everywhere and wanted to know every annoying detail. I’m thankful for ozzy he’s a legend and I’m glad my dad named me ozzy after the legend. I think we agree that Ozzy is your quintessential out-of-control rocker.
That hit me between the eyes like a fucking rock. I turned to him on the spot: Jack, I’m so fucking sorry. My ego was running the show. I thought I had the right to be whatever I wanted to be. That’s not the case, because when you bring someone into the world you’ve got a responsibility. If someone told you they wanted to do a TV show about their family, what would you say? Be careful, because with fame and success comes ego. Every single person has one, but it depends on how you use it.
The thing that pisses me off is that that's not what I'm about. If that's what you think Ozzy Osbourne's about, then you're way off. Launch. com, October 10, 1998. I have no regrets except that I wasn't up to keep Randy (Rhoads) from getting on that plane. If that was the case on Halloween night, the police cells would be full-everyone would have turned Satanic for the night! Launch. When we did that album (Vol. 4) it was like one big Roman orgy-we'd be in the Jacuzzi all day doing coke, and every now and then we'd get up to do a song. Guitar World Issue 37, 2000. Somebody said to me this morning, 'To what do you attribute your longevity?'
