Introduction by Club Captain

capt

I am extremely honoured to be captain of Maldon Golf Club for 2008. I joined the club eight years ago and have been an active member of the Management Committee for the last two years. We are extremely proud of our Golf Course at Maldon, the condition of which continues to improve year on year. It is held in very high regard; last year it was selected to host a Quarter Final tie of the County's Lesley Wood Competition; this year we look forward to hosting the National Nines Qualifing event for Essex and entertaining the Essex under 13 boys v Suffolk. All of these appointments serve to illustrate the high quality of the course which is a credit to our Green Keeping staff. Maldon is a very friendly club which welcomes new members of all abilities and ages. The focus is predominantly on enjoyment, both on and off the course and we always look forward to receiving visiting clubs, societies and individuals; So if you are looking for membership of a golf club or just an odd round of golf with a pint and a bite to eat, please give us a try. We guarantee you a warm welcome which will certainly make you want to come back for more.
